Bush Tucker Garden

By | Published | No Comments

The South side of the Gunyah Community Garden has been converted into a bush tucker Garden with the help and advice of the Aboriginal Heritage Office, as well as some Indigenous environmentalists. Huge thanks to the Help Street Foundation who offered seed funding to get this project of the ground.

We’ve also had a talk on the Aboriginal history of the area, and a wonderful bush tucker tasting. Stay tuned for more activities in the garden. Next time you are passing, pop in and check it out, or check out the Gunyah Instagram account for a weekly update on this exciting venture.
