December 17th – 7pm @ Willoughby Uniting Church: 10 – 12 Clanwilliam St, Willoughby.
Christmas is often described as a season of joy, but for many people, it can also be a difficult time. Grief, loneliness, illness, family struggles or the loss of someone we love can make the celebrations around us feel overwhelming.
Our Blue Christmas service offers a quiet, gentle space for those who find this season difficult. It is a time to pause, reflect, remember and find comfort in God’s presence.
Through music, readings, prayer and candlelight, we acknowledge that Christmas can hold both joy and sorrow. There is no expectation to be cheerful or to have everything together. You are welcome just as you are.
Whether you are grieving a loved one, facing uncertainty, carrying personal struggles or simply longing for a moment of peace, this service is for you.
Join us as we make room for sadness, remember those we miss and hold on to the quiet hope that God’s light continues to shine, even in the darkest times.
Everyone is welcome.
